New Water Bottles from Etsy
I’d like to take a minute to do a little review, and boste about our new water bottles. Although you don’t really NEED anything to be healthy, one huge way we’ve tried to give an incentive in our house for healthy living, is to buy things from time to time, geared towards promoting our new life style.
The easiest way to think about it? If you buy a new pair of sneakers that you really like, your probably gonna be more excited about your morning walk or run than you would have been just wearing your same old worn out pair of shoes.
We do water bottles at our house to save from all the plastic waist from cases of water, and help us keep better track of how much we drink a day. Not long ago my 2 hamsters and I ordered these bottles off of Etsy, and I’am in love.
These are from the Blessings Boutique, and there are 2 huge reasons why I love them.
- Because these bottles didn’t have the huge fees Etsy usually does, there were several water bottles I really liked, but when I would head to check out I was finding that the end price was closer to 50 dollars than 40. I paid less than 20 dollars a piece for all 3 of them.
- No spilling. No leaking. And the straws work well. This is so important considering that we take our water bottles out of the house, from work to walks, school and back they’re great, personalized and pretty.

Yoga Mats and weighted Jump Ropes from Factory Connection
You don’t need anything to build an exercise routine, but sometimes having supplies or equipment can really help. When doing floor exercises a mat can give you a warmer softer place to lay, and keep you from sliding on floors.
We got these from Factory Connection for 15 dollars, and liked them a lot, they’re much thicker than the ones we had before and a little more durable as well, also the materials are easy to clean.
We got these jump ropes too for our Jump rope challenge in February, also from factory Connection these are from the same company Head.
They’re pretty good, the handles are easy to hold onto, kind of padded and really a great value for 6 bucks.

For our program we do rewards every 3 months, and I’m always looking for something health or fitness related hoping I may help to further motivate us.
I ordered 2 shirts for my husband, Hamster number 3, and a family member, and 1 hoodie for me, they were all great, just how they look online, and sized well.
I really loved the hoodie, often when I buy hoodies or jackets, even buying 2 and 3 x’s it seems they just aren’t big enough, especially when compared to my husbands jackets, but this one was a perfect size, and just thick enough to keep me from freezing on my early spring 5a.m. walks.
