We’re always open to people joining this “Program”, or using our method, but even more than that we want to create a sort of community space here. If you’re interested in using these ideas, and joining us, here’s a simple sort of outline of what to expect or how to go about it. First..
Contact me, you can do this by email: shaunnaramey88@gmail.com
Or on Instagram: @shaunnamramey
or on Facebook Shaunna Marie Ramey.
If I don’t reply automatically, don’t worry too much, I don’t use social media or my email at all between the hours of 5 p.m. and 6 a.m., but I will get back to you.
So, what should you know to begin?
- We do what I like to call, 3 days to 3 months. The idea is that 3 months is about the time it takes to consistently practise something or do something, so that it becomes a habit and feels normal. For us that means that we do 6 days a week of exercises and our healthy eating, we work hard to replace our bad habits with good ones, and wake up each day with the intention to give our best (Except our one rest day a week when we let ourselves be bad humans and just do what we feel.) we go hard..set small goals for a 3 month period that work towards our big goals, keep track of our progress and keep in touch with each other. Then, at the end of our 3 months we reward ourselves with items geared towards exercises or healthy living, we have a big dinner out to celebrate our successes and talk about what changes we may need to make. We also take a true and real step back, for 3 full days we step back from the diet, the exercise and hard work, and give ourselves a good break. Most times we just take a break that way, but sometimes we do hotel rooms, or plan a vacation..anything that lets us step out of our normal routines, and gives us a chance to truly rest and recharge so that when we come back we can give full energy and effort to our goals again. This is important, and a must.
- If your joining this as a program as others have, I will need contact with you at least weekly because our program focuses on implying a reward system to try and help encourage a lifelong system of accountability, so in a 3 month period you can only miss 10 days of exercises, and if you stay under that 10 days then at the end of your 3 month period you will receive a prize in person or by mail depending on your location. If you miss a day, you can get it taken off again, but in order to do this you must either give up your rest day and do a full routine then, or exercise twice in one day. Obviously I’ll need some proof, and for that I will offer to do video calls, face times, or review recordings. Also possible is that if 2 people in one household join the club and are willing to vouch for each other, I’ll accept that. Remember if you’re not being Honest about your efforts, it’ll be reflected in your progress, and in reality you’re only cheating yourself. So I will need to hear from you at least once a week with an honest report of your cheats, and how many days you have been fully active for at least 30 minutes, as well as news from the doctor or your weigh in (Of course only doctor reports pertaining to your health as its related to your diet and exercise)
- Do you have to join when a new 3 months starts with us? Of course not, Why? Because the most important part of making any changes in life is that first step, most importantly not putting off that first step. Not for a day. Or a week. Or a month. If you’re serious about this, contact me right now and I would be more than willing to help you figure out what steps you can take as soon as you wake up tomorrow morning.
- What do I need? Water bottles? Leggings? Yoga matt? Fit bit? Nope. Nope…Nothing you need nothing. Just your determination. All of those things are nice, they certainly help to make things easier and sometimes a little more fun, but you don’t NEED anything.
- If I join do I have to take a bunch of pictures or do an interview like you see on the Who We Are page? Nuh uh. I would appreciate it, and so would someone else who may relate to you and find your story inspiring, but obviously your privacy is more important to me than the need to share your story.
- How do I go about changing my diet and exercise? Well I put all of that into my posts, and update as our lives, schedules and routines change. Everything from the food we eat, to the exercises we do and how to balance your meal planning can be found on the page Meal Planning, Recipes and Exercises. If you still have questions, you think that maybe something won’t entirely work for you, or you just want an opinion, I would be happy to help however I can.
I hope this has been a helpful guide on how to get started. As of right now, our little club is 5 members strong. We range in age from 14 to 54, we have different budgets, schedules, and goals..but we’re in this together, making the right kind of changes for our health and happiness, and we want to be there for you as well.
Wishing you the best of luck!

The way I ate before was very bad, I lived on pasta 7 days a week, a whole box with sauce by myself everyday a week, I never ate much veggies.
I Was tired everyday, never had any energy.
This new way of eating for me can be hard, especially when it comes to breakfast because I had so many years of just eating once a day, right before bed. I eat a lot of chicken now and fresh vegetables which I had convinced myself I hated.
Now I can tell I have more energy, and I know when I’m hungry, I don’t wait 12 hours to eat either.
Favorite unhealthy food? Pasta
Favorite healthy food? Broccoli
Worst Exercise? Knee Roll ups Best Exercise? Scare Crows
My goal is to be back in a size 9, around 129 pounds, I’m about 45 pounds away right now. My sort of daydream for reaching this goal is to buy new clothes, and wear them on a beach vacation.
This is really challenging, changing your life around after so many years, but I’m enjoying the rewards of it already, and sometimes even having fun with it.
I say I can a-lot more now, instead of I can’t.

My diet was all greasy, breaded, and lots of Candy before this, I had a hard time breathing and moving around.
My diet now is much better, not as much breaded freezer stuff, I can breathe and move around easier and I don’t have as many stomach problems or acid refluux.
Favorite unhealthy food? Pizza. Favorite healthy food? Broccoli Casserole.
Worst Exercise? Wall Cross Crunches. Best Exercise? Scare Crows.
My goal is to not be on medicine to control my blood sugar anymore.
My goal dream is to someday have my own You Tube channel.
I’ve learned to push myself more.

The way I ate before was pretty much everything and anything, I always felt older than I’am, and everything hurt.
Now what I eat is usually really green, I have more energy, and I feel like I can move around better.
My favorite unhealthy snack is chips, my favorite healthy snack is carrots.
The exercise I hate the most is scare crows, but my favorite is Walnut crushers.

My long term goal isn’t really a specific weight, but to be healthy enough to start taking hormones.
My goal dream is an active trip to Colorado to hike and explore their parks.

Everyday I argue with myself because I just need to “Get the hell out of bed.”

Before I changed my life around, I ate a lot of quick and easy freezer foods like chicken strips and fries, my stomach always seemed at least a little upset, and I always had to drink mass amounts of caffeine to feel like I had any energy.
Now I love to cook, and use much more fresh veggies, I also don’t need nearly as much coffee to get through my days.
My favorite unhealthy food? Garlic Bread. My favorite healthy food? Spinach.
Worst Exercise? Pull overs. Best Exercise Side leg lifts.

My goal weight right now is 170 pounds and to be able to run a full lap around the track without stopping. Right now I’m about 75 pounds away.
My dream when I’ve reached my goal weight is a trip to Thailand filled with active adventures I can not only endure but enjoy without feeling exhausted or limited.
This is difficult, turning your life upside down and building something better, but despite my goal being so far away, I can already see its worth it.
