Do you have a hard time drinking the right amount of water everyday? Maybe you don’t drink water at all? Science says we need about 2 liters, or 8, 8 ounce glasses of water a day.
But this girl used to say that was impossible. I hated water, well..not hate but I couldn’t stand sipping on water, I only downed a cup here and there when I was extremely thirsty, and in all reality I doubt I drank more than 1 cup per week.
Most days I would drink coffee from morning till noon and pop till bedtime. I also had problems falling asleep, constant breakouts, and well obviously I was overweight.
But there’s hope, because here I’am less than a year later, only having 1 or 2 pops a day half of the week, and the other half only drinking water and juice.
This method hasn’t just worked for me though, my hamsters (roommates) have also done the same, read on to find out how I went from 1 glass a week to drinking 3 or 4 22 oz water bottles a day.

1. Get 2 water bottles
2. Drink mixes
Now I get what you’re thinking, “that’s not really water!” But look..

These are the best ones I’ve seen, you can buy them at Walmart, and they have so many different flavors and packages, you could even buy them in a size meant for pitchers.
So…how exactly?
Well, we started with 2 bottles a peice, and we had all day to drink them, but no pop was allowed before they were gone. So for my hamsters who had trouble being accountable in the beginning, they would need to bring me their empty bottles before dinner time to get their pop.
While it’s still a work in progress for them, I have moved up slowly on how much I drink. What started as 2 bottles became 3 most days, so I’am actually drinking the right amount of water more days than not.
I hope this has helped you out, and I wish you the best of luck in creating your healthier lifestyle. Remember I’d love to hear your story, answer questions or just offer my encouragement.
